Ludwik "Louie" Gorczynski of Westtown, NY, a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight, entered into rest on Friday, September 19, 2014. He was 64. The son of the late Sylwester Gorczynski & Franciszka Zemka Gorczynski, he was born January 10, 1950 in Bad Reichenhall, Germany. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran who served with the 173rd Airborne Division. He was a former member of the P.L.A.V. Post # 16, Pine Island, NY & Greenville V.F.W. Survivors include his wife, Bozena Gorczynski; son, Eric Gorczynski; daughter, Jessica Gorczynski all of Westtown, NY; 3 brothers, Constanty "Connie" Gorczynski & Lorraine; John Gorczynski & wife Vicki; Edward Gorczynski & wife Barbara; 2 sisters, Bernadette Bigert and Theresa Piccirilli & husband Joseph; 3 sisters-in-law, Julie, Helen & Marilyn Gorczynski. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 brothers, Leonard, Chester, Joseph & Kazimierz "Cas" Gorczynski; sister, Ursula Buda. As per his wishes, funeral services were held privately and burial with full military honors was held in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to P.L.A.V. Post # 16, P.O. Box 16, Pine Island, NY 10969.
