Ludwik "Louie" Gorczynski of Westtown, NY, a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight, entered into rest on Friday, September 19, 2014. He was 64.
The son of the late Sylwester Gorczynski & Franciszka Zemka Gorczynski, he was born January 10, 1950 in Bad Reichenhall, Germany.
He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran who served with the 173rd Airborne Division. He was a former member of the P.L.A.V. Post # 16, Pine Island, NY & Greenville V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife, Bozena Gorczynski; son, Eric Gorczynski; daughter, Jessica Gorczynski all of Westtown, NY; 3 brothers, Constanty "Connie" Gorczynski & Lorraine; John Gorczynski & wife Vicki; Edward Gorczynski & wife Barbara; 2 sisters, Bernadette Bigert and Theresa Piccirilli & husband Joseph; 3 sisters-in-law, Julie, Helen & Marilyn Gorczynski. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 4 brothers, Leonard, Chester, Joseph & Kazimierz "Cas" Gorczynski; sister, Ursula Buda.
As per his wishes, funeral services were held privately and burial with full military honors was held in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
