Josephine "Josie" Wesolowski of Pine Island, NY, entered into rest on Monday, April 1, 2013 in ORMC. She was 73.
The daughter of the late Bronislaus & Regina Sedlak Gayewski, she was born on August 30, 1939 in Pine Island, NY.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Wesolowski & wife Darlene of Westtown, NY; Daughter, Laurie Ann Olejniczak & husband David of Westtown,; Daughter, Jennifer Palumbo & husband Chris of Pine Island; Daughter, Linda Della Vecchia & husband Greg of Pine Island; 8 Grandchildren, Christina & Raymond Wesolowski; Jacquelyn & David Jr. Olejniczak; Emily Rose & Madeline Jean Palumbo; and Michael John & Matthew James Della Vecchia. 2 sisters, Viola Hojnacki of Warwick, NY & Virginia Bastek of Westtown, NY; Brother John Gayewski of Burlington, Iowa. And several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward "Shorty" Wesolowski, 6 sisters, Frances Shaw, Charlotte Tomaszewski, Stella Weslowski, Mary Schreibeis, Jean Lupinski and Genevieve Tomaszewski and brother Barney Gayewski.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route#1, Pine Island, NY 10969.
A funeral mass will be held 10:00AM Thursday, April 4th at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Church Restoration Fund, 14 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
