Stanley J. Wanczyk of Florida, NY, a retired self employed onion farmer, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Middletown Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Middletown NY. He was 76.
The son of the Felicia Figurski Wanczyk and the late Stanley Wanczyk, he was born July 22, 1936 in Goshen, NY.
He was a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include his mother, Felicia Wanczyk of Florida, NY; 2 sisters, Frances Warren & husband Harold of Goshen, NY; Ann Gurda & husband Edward of Slate Hill, NY. Several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Eleanor Champigny.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31st from 12-12:45PM at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral service will be held 1PM on Friday, May 31st at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. The Reverend Joseph Tokarczyk will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, 14 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
