Julia "Sheila" Donovan, 76 of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY.
The daughter of the late Daniel Jordan & Julia Mullane, she was born on August 20, 1936 in Kanturk, County Cork, Ireland.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John Donovan; 3 children, James Donovan & wife Gloria; John Patrick Donovan & wife Linda; Carol Lempka & husband Vincent. 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Theresa Barry, Marie Cross & Pauline O'Leary. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 1 brother, Michael Jordan, 2 sisters, Phyllis Joyce & Ethel Young.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
A funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6th at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY.
Burial will be in held privately and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Warwick Valley Humane Society, PO Box 61, Warwick, NY 10990.
