Clara Jane Scank of Florida, NY formerly of Curtain, WV entered into rest on Friday, August 16, 2013 in Florida, NY. She was 77.
The daughter of the late Fred and Madrel Mathes Lipscomb, she was born March 3, 1936 in Curtain WV.
Clara was a retired Rehabilitation Assistant at Letchworth Village, Thiells, NY.
She was married to the late Abraham Scank.
She is survived by her son Mickey Coontz and his wife Karen; sister, Kay Cochran and husband Harold; brother, Paul Lipscomb and wife Mary; 2 grandsons, Mickey W. Coontz and wife Mariana, and Richard L. Coontz and wife Katie; 3 great grandsons, Blake, Ashton, and Mickey, and one great granddaughter Harper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 19th from the hours of 6-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY.
Burial will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550
