Geraldine V. Riordan of Florida, NY a lunch aide for S.S. Seward Institute, Florida, entered into rest on December 11, 2013 in Orange Regional Medical Center Middletown, NY. She was 83, and a woman to be loved.
"A mother, grandmother, and friend, she was truly one of a kind. Her whole life was dedicated to her family. She touched the lives of many and will always be in our hearts."
She is survived by her son Kevin Riordan and his wife Anna, daughter Colleen Cecala;
Grandchildren Justin Riordan and wife Joie, Jenna Riordan, Dana Riordan, Brandon Riordan, Ashley Cecala, and Nicholas Riordan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2103 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral Services will be held 8 pm on Tuesday evening at the Funeral Home.
