Obituary of Martha Jarocki

Martha Jarocki of Loundonville, NY, formerly of Warwick & Goshen, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.  She was 91.

The daughter of the late Frank Shuback & Rose Mydosh Shuback, she was born on June 8, 1926 in Pine Island, NY.

She was a longtime member of St. Stephen’s Church in Warwick as well as St. John’s Church in Goshen.

Martha was a loving mother and grandmother who most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a retired recreation therapy aide for Orange Farms, Goshen, NY where she enjoyed caring for the residents. She also enjoyed listening to polka music and attended many various Polish events. 

She is survived by her son, Mark Jarocki & wife Lisette of Loudonville, NY; daughter, Kathleen Jarocki of Nashville, TN; daughter, Janice D’Antoni & husband Peter of Hopewell Junction, NY; 6 grandchildren; brother, Frank Shuback & sister Josephine Giza; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Susan and 2 sisters, Clara Nowicki & Theresa Pawliczak.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 22, 2017 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM  at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.

A funeral mass will be held 10 am on Saturday December 23 at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY.

Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island, NY.
