Obituary of Clara F. Grzyb

Clara Grzyb of Florida, NY, entered into rest on January 27, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 97.

The daughter of the late Anthony Andryshak & Sophie Buchalski, she was born on June 20, 1920 in Florida, NY.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and its Living Rosary Society and choir; St. Joseph's Banquet Committee and Seward Senior Citizen's. Mom was an avid Bingo player.

She is survived by her daughters Carol Dembeck of Florida, NY and Patricia Nixdorf & her husband Lou of Florida, NY; 2 grandsons, Walter Thompson & partner, Kevin Flasch of Warwick, NY; Brian Thompson & wife Alexis of Denver, CO; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond "Jake" Grzyb; sister, Helen Lis and her husband Ignatius and brother, Edward Andryshak and wife Marion.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30th from 3-7pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921, with a Rosary Service to be held at 4PM.

A funeral mass will be held 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 31st at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
