Obituary of Richard Melcher Ulvila Jr.

Richard Melcher Ulvila Jr. of New Hampton, NY, entered into rest on Monday, February 5, 2018.  He was 52.

The son of the Richard M. Ulvila Sr. & the late Judith White Ulvila, he was born March 17, 1965 in Quincy, MA.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Jankowski Ulvila; daughter, Jaclyn J. Ulvila; son, Richard M. Ulvila III; father, Richard M. Ulvila Sr.; mother-in-law, Theresa Jankowski; sister, Heidi Ulvila-Stevens & husband James; brother, James Ulvila; brother, Steven Ulvila & wife Jeanette; brother, Matthew Ulvila; sister, Aimee Stone & husband J. Ryan; brother, Michael Ulvila; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edward Jankowski & wife Wendy; Leonard Jankowski & wife Jan.  He is further survived by 19 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9th from 7-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Funeral mass will be held 10AM Saturday, February 10th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

A private cremation will follow and burial of his ashes will be held in the future.
