Obituary of Irene Szewczuk

Irene Szewczuk of Matamoras, PA, formerly of Washington Township, NJ, a retired RN for Hackensack University Medical Center, entered into rest on Thursday, February 8, 2018.   She was 66.

 

The daughter of the late Michael & Natalie Dubrowna Szewczuk, she was born on November 9, 1951 in New York, NY.

 

She is survived by sister, Nadia Flisikowski & husband Robert; sister, Laura Hadorn; nieces, Karen Flisikowski & Katrina Hadorn; nephews, Joseph Flisikowski & Alexander Hadorn; along with additional family in Moldova & Ukraine.

 

As per her wishes, funeral services will be held privately.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

 

The family would like to thank the Pike County Area on Aging, especially Tracy; Matamoras/Westfall Twp EMT’s & Matamoras/Westfall Twp Police Dept. and the ER Staff of Bon Secours Community Hospital for their assistance.
