Angela G. Russo of Goshen, NY, a retired executive with Chester Packing Imperial Lamb & Veal, entered into rest on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at home. She was 87.
The daughter of the late Sebastian & Pauline Cardillo Maiorana, she was born on September 15, 1927 in New York City.
She was a graduate of Pratt University.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Nunzio Russo; son, John B. Russo & wife Katherine; daughter, Marylou R. Berardino & husband Ron; 5 grandchildren, JB Russo, Tara E. Waters & spouse Bobby, Marcy Carbone & spouse Mike, Alison Davis & spouse, Shawn, and Joseph Russo; 4 great grandchildren, Brady, Madison, Ryleigh & Brooklynne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th from 4-8pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
A funeral mass will be held 10AM Wednesday, November 26th at St. Columba Church, Chester, NY.
Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Chester, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lil Bravest, 153 E. Central Ave., Pearl River, NY 10965 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
