Obituary of Nicky W. Ozemba

Nicky Ozemba of Rockville, MD entered into rest on December 17, 2014. He was 61. The son of the late Walter & Geraldine Collins Ozemba, he was born March 4, 1953 in California. Nick was a proud and loving father, a great friend and an incredible listener. He had a strong presence everywhere he went, and opened his heart to anyone and everyone he met. Nothing you said or did would go unnoticed. He listened to and analyzed every detail he talked to you and gave strength to everyone around him. He would do anything and everything he could to be with the ones he loved. His hugs were so strong that we can still feel them now. His memory will live on in each of his three children and be cherished by all lucky enough to know him. Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Ozemba; son, Nicholas Ozemba; daughter, Alexa Ozemba; brother, Mark Ozemba and his wife Karen; niece, Kristin Finley and her husband Daniel and great niece Adeline Grace; nephew and Godson, Michael Ozemba; and nephew, Steven Ozemba. Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2:00-2:30PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Memorial service will be held 2:30PM Sunday, January 11th at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY with military honors.
