Hedwig Gwozd of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in The Valley View Center, Goshen, NY. She was 95.
The daughter of the late Anthony Poloniewicz and Mary Daszkiewicz Poloniewicz, she was born on June 11, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY.
She is survived by her daughter, Madeline Gwozd of Florida, NY; son-in-law, Benjamin Keeney of Goshen, NY; two grandchildren: Benjamin and Brianne Keeney of Goshen, NY. She was predeceased by her husband John Gwozd and daughter, Virginia Keeney.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 16th at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 17th at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
