John M. Villanueva of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.  He was 75.

 

The son of the late Juan Villanueva & Carmen Arce Villanueva, he was born on October 26, 1943 in Jamaica, NY.

 

He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 47 years, Audrey Kriebel Villanueva; and was an amazing father to his 2 sons, Michael & Eric.     Hi is survived by his sisters Lydia Orontodo and her husband John, sister Ruth Jantzi and husband Lowell, sisters Anna and Dina Villanueva.   He is also survived by his brothers Phillip and his wife Maria, Tom and his wife Yvonne, Steve and his wife Irene, and brother Ralph.   In addition to his brothers and sisters, he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and as well as great nieces and nephews. 

 

He had a passion for life, loved great food, and never turned down an opportunity play a game of cards.    John mostly loved the process of picking stocks, you could always find him in front of the TV or on laptop looking for the next big company.   He was known by friends and family as a strong, kind and caring man, who loved spending time with his wife and boys.     He will be missed by many and loved by all.    

 

Memorial service will be held 2PM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5 Wisner Road, Warwick, NY 10990.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church youth group ski camp.
