Obituary of Mary Sobiech

Mary "Jane" Sobiech of Warwick, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, February 26, 2015. She was 83. The daughter of the late Clara Langlitz, she was born on November 5, 1931 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and a longstanding member of St. Stanislaus Living Rosary Society, Pine Island. Survivors include her son, Edwin B. Sobiech Jr., daughter in law, Susan Sobiech, grandson Brennan Sobiech, granddaughter, Olivia Sobiech; Daughter, Tina Marie Svizzero & husband Paul and granddaughter Tania Hammock & husband Tom, grandson Michael Svizzero, granddaughter Gina Bolton & husband Chris, grandson Adam Svizzero & wife Alina; 3 great grandchildren, Logan & Bailey Hammock; Gavin Bolton; 2 brothers, Eugene & Craig Schmick; Brother-in-law, Louis Poloniak; Sister-in-law, Shirley Schmick; Sister-in-law, Joyce Schmick; 2 sisters, Shirley Schmick & Mary Lou Charles; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin B. Sobiech Sr.; 6 brothers & 7 sisters. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 4-8PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route#1, Pine Island, NY 10969. The Living Rosary Society will have services 5PM at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held 1:00PM Monday, March 2nd at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY. Burial will be St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island, NY.
