Obituary of Elizabeth Maire Kohlberger

Elizabeth Marie Kohlberger, 87 entered into rest on February 27, 2015 in O.R.M.C Middletown, NY. Betty was a homemaker and longtime resident of Norwood, NJ, where she was born, before moving to Wallkill, NY. She was the youngest child of Maurice and Mary Agatha Kiely. She was predeceased by her loving husband John, who along with Betty was very involved in their church. Betty was the cherished mother of Betty Slattery, John and wife Susan, Warren, Peter and wife Barbara, Eileen Hall and husband Russ, Rick and wife Cathy, Joan Bryson and husband Denny and Aggie Viaud and husband Fred. 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She joins her 2 brothers and 7 sisters. Visitation will be held from 2-3 PM March 1 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY. Memorial funeral services will be held 3 pm on Sunday March 1, 2105 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200 Bethesda, Maryland 20814 in Betty's memory.
