Roy Clayton Geiger Jr aka Junior of Westtown, NY entered into rest on Thursday June 25, 2020. 

He was 83 years old.

The son of Roy Clayton Geiger Sr. and Edna Iffert Geiger he was born on Feb. 9, 1937 in Leighton, PA.

Roy loved being outside whether it be gardening or having a barbeque with his family and friends. He also enjoyed trains, fishing, old movies and music.

Roy was a US Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary A. Geiger; son Roy C. Geiger III of Middletown, NY; daughter Cheryl Ann Wilson of Florida, NY; son Alexander F. Geiger and wife Annette of New Hope, Fl; daughter Dawn C. Daniels and husband Jack of Chipley, Fl; daughter Sandra J. William and husband Roger of Bonifay, Fl; sister Carol Easterly of Parryville, PA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and in-laws with extended family and friends.

Cremation will be held privately. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 1 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. from 2-3 pm with a memorial service to be held at 3 pm. Due to covid restrictions only 25 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time, those that have to wait to enter are asked to please follow social distancing guidelines as well as wear a face covering inside the funeral home.
