Please share a memory of Wanda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Wanda Lozina passed away on Thursday, February 18, at the age of 94. She was born in Brooklyn, raised a family in Queens, later moved to Greenwood Lake and had been a resident of Sapphire Nursing Home in Goshen where she especially enjoyed the company of the staff in the PT, OT and Recreation departments. Wanda was an avid reader and Scrabble player. Before her death she was teaching herself words and phrases in French. As a young mother she was president of the PTA for many years and a clever creator of Halloween and school play costumes. She was an accomplished ice skater and enjoyed the visual arts, breakfast in bed, cruises, and organizing community libraries.
There will be a private service for the immediate family.
Wanda requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
