Obituary of Longina Romaniuk

Longina Romaniuk of Suffern, NY, formerly of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.  She was 93.

The daughter of Stanlislaw Olejniczak & Maria Wolnowska, she was born on May 8, 1927 in Zastawie, Poland.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Romaniuk of Suffern, NY; son, Stefan Romaniuk (Christine) of Boston, MA; son, John Romaniuk (Susan Sheridan) of Loudonville, NY; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Dekermanji (Anthony); Justin Romaniuk; 2 great grandchildren, Matteo & Olivia; 3 sisters, Eileen Stelmaszczyk (Marion) of Kinnelon, NJ; Irene Calderon (Tony) of TN; Mary Coleman (Robert) of Florida, NY; 3 brothers, Mickey Olejniczak; John Olejniczak (Martha) & Zygmund Olejniczak (Lona) all of Florida, NY; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Jozef Romaniuk; stepmother, Adela Draszek; 2 brothers, Stanley & Tadeusz Olejniczak.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5^th from 3-6pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 1PM Saturday, March 6^th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.  CLICK HERE to view the funeral mass live stream.

Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
