Obituary of Marvin L. Coontz

Marvin L. Coontz of Florida, NY, a retired maintenance worker for Letchworth Village, Thiells, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at home.  He was 90.

 

The son of the late Isaac Coontz & Ola Beckwith Coontz, he was born on July 26, 1930 in Wendel, WV.

 

He is survived by his son Mickey L. Coontz and wife Karen of Florida, NY; grandsons Mickey W. Coontz and his wife Mariana of Darian, Conn.; Richard Coontz and his wife Catherine of Florida, NY; great-grandchildren, Blake, Ashton, Mickey T., Harper, Emmy, Beau, Tessa, Hailee and Noah; his sister Joyce Talbert and brother-law Richard of New Franklin, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

He was predeceased by his first wife Clara Scank; his 2 brothers, Sterling & Richard Coontz, 4 sisters, Katherine, Margel, Hazel and Rita.

 

As per his wishes, funeral services and cremation will be held privately.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
