Obituary of Charles J. Emanuel

Charles J. Emanuel of Florida, NY, formerly of Demarest, NJ, entered into rest on Saturday, May 08, 2021.  He was 83.

 

The son of the late Benjamin & Rose Rubiano Emanuel, he was born on January 4, 1938 in Hackensack, NJ.

 

He was a US Navy Veteran.  

 

He is survived by his son, Charles B. Emanuel & wife Lori of Florida, NY; son, Nicholas Emanuel & wife Rosi of Demarest, NJ; daughter, Janine Blandino & husband Dominick of Sugar Loaf, NY; 7 grandchildren, Valentina, Antonia & Nicole Emanuel; Dominick Jr., Benjamin, Nicholas & Peter Blandino.

 

He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Jeannette Paccione Emanuel; brother, Carmelo Emanuel & sister, Fortunata Massa.

 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11^th from 4-8pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

 

A funeral mass will be held 10AM Wednesday, May 12^th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

 

A cremation will be held privately following the service.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
