Ray was the owner of Ray Heter Trucking Florida, NY.

He is survived by his son Raymond W. Heter and wife, Linda, of Spring Hill, FL; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 Predeceased by his wife Ruth Russett Heter and daughter Catherine Heter Cushing

Visitation will be held from 3-6 pm on Wednesday August 18, 2021 at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY.

A funeral mass will be held 10 am on Thursday August 19, 2021 at St. Joseph Church 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY

Burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Florida, NY.
