Obituary of Alfons Weber

Alfons Weber of Warwick, NY, a retired butcher, formerly of Ridgewood Queens, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  He was 88.

The son of the late Pauline Weber & Edward Kraker, he was born on December 7, 1932 in Gottenitz, Yugoslavia.

He is survived by his wife Erna Windischmann Weber; son, Gerhard Weber (Ingrid); daughter, Kathleen Piazza (Emanuel); 5 grandsons, Christopher Weber; Stephen Weber (Pamela); Nicholas, Bryan & Michael Piazza; 2 great grandchildren, Everly & Hunter Weber.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3^rd from 3-6PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 10AM Saturday, September 4^th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY.

Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.

Due to COVID 19, the funeral home and church are currently following the CDC guidelines regarding the use of masks.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
