Obituary of Richard Koziola Sr.

Richard Koziola Sr. of Pine Island, NY, entered into rest on Monday, September 13, 2021.  He was 92.

The son of the late Agnes Koziola, he was born on June 21, 1929 in Poland.

He is survived by his wife, Stefania Kopaczynski Koziola; 4 sons, Henry Pacos (Elizabeth); John Pacos; Richard Koziola Jr. (Lois); and Edward Koziola; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 1 sister.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15^th from 4-7PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.

A funeral mass will be held 10AM Thursday, September 16^th at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY.

Burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island.

Due to COVID 19, the funeral home and church are currently following the CDC guidelines regarding the use of masks.
