Obituary of Mary Ashcroft
Mary Ashcroft of Newburgh, NY, a retired Director of Group Homes for the Mentally & Physically Disabled for New York State, entered into rest on Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was 63.
The daughter of the late William Rosella & Genevieve “Jenny” Randazzo Rosella, she was born on December 18, 1957 in Newburgh, NY.
She is survived by her son, Tyler Ashcroft; 2 grandchildren, Buddy & Gia; 3 sisters, Rosalie Fuller & husband Thomas Sr.; Josephine Osmer and Susan Kogan and husband Stan; Godson, Todd Gatto; former husband, Jim Ashcroft; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews & 1 great great nephew.
She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Rosella and daughter-in-law, Meghan Ashcroft.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 23rd from 4-7pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Due to COVID 19, the funeral home is currently following the CDC guidelines regarding the use of masks.
