Henry Jagielski of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, December 30, 2021 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.  He was 69.

 

The son of the late Jacob & Stella Najdek Jagielski, he was born on January 19, 1952 in Warwick, NY.

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Leta Mestek Jagielski; daughter Jessica Jagielski (Sharon Devasia); son, Daniel Jagielski; granddaughter, Mia; brother, Stanley Jagielski; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law, Ed & Paula Biagini; nieces, Lori Biagini & Emily Alisio (Jim); nephews, Ed (Jeanine) & Paul Biagini; great niece, Ashley Biagini (Anthony Riente); and his beloved dog Rylee.

 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2-6PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

 

A funeral mass will be held 10AM Monday, January 3rd at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

 

Burial will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island.

 

Due to COVID 19, the funeral home and church are currently following the NY State Mandate regarding the use of masks.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind or to the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley.
