Harold T. Wilson a lifelong resident of Warwick, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, July 05, 2015. He was 91. The son of the late Lester Wilson & Margaret Ryan Wilson, he was born June 20, 1924 in Warwick, NY. He was a self-employed dairy farmer for 30 years and then became the head groundskeeper for the Lewis Estate in Warwick for over 30 years before his retirement. He was a devoted member of the Warwick Historical Society for well over 20 years were he was actively involved in managing several of their buildings. Survivors include his son, James E. Wilson & wife Linda of Middletown, NY; brother, Lester Wilson & wife Betty of Warwick; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Anna Cichanowicz Wilson; brother, Clifford; and 3 sisters, Frances, Mildred & Margaret. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8th from 9-11AM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969. Funeral mass will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, July 8th at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island. The family request no flowers and donations can be made to the Warwick Historical Society, PO Box 353, Warwick, NY 10990 or to the Warwick Valley Humane Society, PO Box 61, Warwick, NY 10990.
