Please share a memory of Mark to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

MARK STEPHEN BAYDARIAN: Mark peacefully passed away on April 13, 2022 in Naples, FL.  Father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was truly a gift to this world. He was predeceased by his loving wife (Irene). He is survived by his three sons (Zachary, Jordan and Jesse), their wives (Stacy, Sue and Iryna), six grandchildren (Sam, Josh, Ben, Noah, Cameron and Kaia), mother (Genevieve), two brothers (Jim and Michael), sister (Beth), two nieces (EllaJane and Lily Rose) and three nephews (Paul, Noah and Elijah). Mark was born in Detroit, MI on April 2, 1954, attended Nankin Mills Junior High School and graduated from John Glenn High School in 1972. After graduation and throughout college, Mark traveled and worked around our country and the world. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and went on to a successful career as CFO of Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc. before retiring from his beloved position in 2021.

Mark was kind, loving and generous to all. He was an excellent athlete, loved to play many sports (tennis, basketball, softball, ping-pong, biking) and was a skilled musician (guitar and piano). He loved to travel, attend sporting events, hang out with friends, family, and play music, but nothing brought him as much joy as being with his beloved grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, April 19th from 11AM-1PM at Oyster Bay Funeral Home, 261 South Street, Oyster Bay, NY 11771.  Graveside services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, April 20th at Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery, Florida, NY.
