Rosa Maria Martin 91, of Goshen, New York (formerly of Maywood, NJ) passed away on August 31,2022. Rose was born on August 24, 1931 in New York City to Maria and Mariano Boleda.

Rose’s favorite memories were her school days in her private boarding school in Long Island, NY. She was raised by her mother in NYC and spent her summers with her father and family in Cuba. She met the love of her life, Arthur Martin Jr., and were married on June 11, 1955.

She was a proud bookkeeper and retired from U.P.S. as well as a homemaker raising her three children, Cynthia, Wayne and Arthur.

Rose and Arthur lived in Maywood NJ for 56 years then moving to Goshen, NY.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Martin. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Arthur, her son, Wayne and his wife, Loraine, and her son Arthur, and his wife, Debra. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Kristina Garofalo and her husband David Garofalo, Daniel Martin and Cassandra Martin and two great-grandchildren, Luca and Francesco Garofalo.

A funeral mass for Rose will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 410 Maywood Avenue, Maywood, New Jersey.
