Obituary of Elizabeth F. Brown

Elizabeth F. "Liz" Brown of The Villages, FL formerly of Warwick, NY entered into eternal rest on May 20, 2018 at The Villages Regional Hospital. She was 82 years old.

The daughter of H. Barney and Esther Feagles, Liz was born on October 9, 1935 in Warwick,

NY.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Warwick High School and Oneonta State University. She was an

original member of Minisink High School faculty and also taught at Washingtonville and

Middletown schools.

She was involved in swimming as a Red Cross Safety Instructor, was a Masters' Swim

Competitor and served 30 years as a high school official.

Elizabeth is survived by her beloved companion, H. Keith Willcox of The Villages, FL; her

children: Paul R. Brown and wife, Lily of Lafayette, LA, Nancy E. Taus and husband, Charles

of Putnam Valley, NY, and Timothy J. Brown and wife, Beth of Lincoln, RI; her grandchildren:

Jonah Brown, McGovern, Holden, and Sadie Brown, Lucy and Sophie Taus; and by her

brother, Robert Feagles and wife, Joan of St. Johnsville, NY. She was predeceased by her sister,

Ruth Durland.

Visitation will be held from 12noon to 1 pm on Tuesday June 26, 2018 followed by a memorial service at 1pm at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
